UNSOLVED MYSTERIES

Michael Wolljung arrived in this country sometime after 1838, because there is evidence that his twin daughters were born in Alsace sometime during that year. He arrived before May 1842 because we know that he was in America when his son Christian was born in May of 1842.

Many questions remain about the events that occurred during this time period. We know the point of entry was probably Buffalo, N.Y. but exactly when did the family first arrive? Also, did his young adult sons accompany him on the journey? What was the name of the ship that they crossed on? Where did they first settle?
